Overview

Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1155, by Grëi Trgfêm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Grëi Trgfêm.

Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ is is constructed arround a semi-circular crampt canals mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Astonishigly, the top tier civilian fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ gives the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ brings to mind.

Cultural Notes

Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

In Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.

The Kamadan near Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Gu̹nà S̺ûgæ's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves creating small tokens to channel Summoning energies of tier 1 via throat chanting.
